Myth one: Cholesterol is harmful for the body.
The truth: Actually Cholesterol is a fatty substance present in our body. It is made by the liver mostly. Cholesterol plays an important role in building body cells and tissues. Cholesterol is also of two types i.e. Bad and Good. Or saturated and unsaturated fats. Saturated fats are mainly found in food like meat , butter, cream etc. This is bad cholesterol. This reduces the amount of lipoprotein in our body which can block the arteries. Another fat is unsaturated fats which is mainly found in nuts, oily fish etc, this tends to increase the amount of lipoprotein.
