When talking about fitness one starts thinking about shedding extra kilos, maintaining muscles, abs etc. But fitness is not just these few things. If we talk about fitness more then just being physical healthy then it is about copying with life’s emergencies, big or small. This is a new definition of being fit. Do you have the strength, calibre of escaping a natural disaster, fleeing a burning building? If yes then you are more than just being physically healthy.
We all know that fitness is a state of mind being physically or mentally active on a regular basis. Apart from physically exercises one should involve some mental exercises also for mental peace and fitness. Mental fitness can be achieved by doing yoga and mediation. This leads to positive thinking and enables one to cope with adverse situations. In this context women are better able to cope with dangerous conditions and emergencies than compared to men. Men start fighting or tend to remain silent and take flight during emergencies.
