Benefits of Water

Water is the precious gift that nature has provided us. It is a universal solvent. We cannot think our life without water. Water is seen everywhere. It is required by all living beings. Plants need water to grow, fish needs water to swim and live. Even non living things like ships, cars etc, needs water. Our body needs water too. 2/3 of our body weight is only water. The composition of our body is blood is 83% water, muscles are 75% water, brain is 74% water and bone is 22% water.
Water transports, food, blood, oxygen and helps in smooth functioning of our body. Water lowers the body temperature also. Our body looses its water in summers, while working out etc. Water helps to make up that loss.
If water is not taken then dehydration can be caused in our body which is not a good indication. The dehydration affects the brain and does not let it do its work properly. A person feels fatigued in the absence of sufficient water in his body.
Water helps in flushing out waste products from his body. Water is also essential for beautiful skin. Water acts as a blood purifier also.
In the event of weight loss doctor advices you to drink more water. The fact behind this is that water makes you feel fuller and you tend to eat less which leads to weight loss. It is advised to take lukewarm water with lemon dissolved in it. This reduces the weight and brings glow on your face also.
One more thing is we all need water to take bath also. Bathing reduces the body temperature and brings it normal. It removes dust, dirt and sweat also from the body.
